Sun Jianshe

Former deputy dean and professor of Horticulture College of Hebei Agricultural University.

Professor Sun Jianshe graduated from Hebei Agricultural University in 1982, majoring in fruit trees. In 2001, he went to the United States for exchanges. After five years of studying and working in the United States, he had a clearer idea of the modern apple industry. He first proposed and implemented a new model of labor-saving short anvil dense planting and high-efficiency apple cultivation.

In more than 30 years of teaching and scientific research, Professor Sun Jianshe has adhered to research, demonstration and promotion, and has achieved fruitful results. The varieties he selected have become treasures for helping fruit farmers get rid of poverty and become rich in the Taihang Mountains. He pays close attention to the forefront dynamics of the Apple industry. He is an advocate and practitioner of the synchronization of advanced cultivation techniques in the world. Establish demonstration gardens for modern apple cultivation models in Hebei, Shandong, Shaanxi, Gansu, Xinjiang, Yunnan, and Guizhou. He developed new orchard equipment for seedling lifter, root cutting machine, remote information collection and service platform suitable for modern cultivation mode, and provided important technical support for the development of my country's orchard mechanization.
